Join us for a work-hard-play-hard weekend of writing and fun! You’ll arrive on Friday for a welcome dinner and by the time Celebration Lunch rolls around on Sunday afternoon you’ll have a finished draft to take home with you. Ben will guide you each step of the way through his acclaimed process, at the fast-pace he uses to churn out his own scripts and avoid overthinking. Learning the method is important, but even more so is learning how to get out of your own way and enjoy the process. With this 3-day intensive, you’ll get both—plus you’ll leave with a brand new TV script! All you have to do is show up and work hard, we’ll take care of the rest!

Crank out a 30-minute TV pilot/sample in just one week! This in-person class teaches you the essentials while walking you through the writing process, step by step. It’s fast, focused, and built to shut down overthinking. The fundamentals are important, but even more so is learning how to get out of your own way. In this fast-paced intensive you’ll get both—plus a finished script!

With this service, you'll work one-one-one with Ben throughout the development & outlining of your script. Each week you will submit your work to Ben in advance of the session, then receive feedback & guidance in the weekly session.
The service runs for 5 sessions* and takes you up through the completed detailed outline, at which point there will be additional options to purchase feedback on the script. Typically this is a weekly service but also available in both shorter and longer intervals. Available for 30- & 60-min TV as well as feature length movie scripts.
A great way to receive notes, obviously, but even more so this service is designed for people who could benefit from motivation, accountability, and deadlines. Ben will get you to the finish line, guaranteed.

Outline Consultation

Have a TV or movie story at least partially outlined and are looking for feedback on it? This service is for you. Your story can be at any stage of outline -- general/structural, step-by-step, or detailed -- and Ben will read it, provide feedback and help you make the decisions that will advance you to the next stage of development. Leave feeling confident in your past decisions and excited to build upon them.
Length of session is 30-60 minutes, depending on how much work you’ve submitted beforehand.
Story Consultation
$150.00
Would you benefit from a soundboarding session before you start developing or outlining a TV or movie idea? This service is for you. Together we’ll break the story and generally map out the plot. You'll leave feeling confident, organized in your thoughts, and excited to tackle the project.
60-min sessions. Ben is not able to look over any materials beforehand.
Price is the same regardless of length of project, we ask you to specify when purchasing only to better inform us going into the consult.
